I made it halfway through and have no desire to finish it. Posh serves up a DNF review of Caroline B. There were no more scenes like the ones I have already mentioned. I pulled it off the shelf and experienced, well, sticker shock. While i was doing yoga today, i realized how much i hate finishing books. It would seem I didn't finish this book approximately EIGHTEEN years ago. I don't have time to figure this out! After 5 weeks, I am going to admit, that I am not going to finish this book. It is not malicious or purposeful, but it is a pattern. Between the writing and the showing not telling I just kept wondering away from this book. Plus, if the tool (computer or software) gets too sophisticated (or I'm not comfortable with it), I get distracted. It occurred to me that I never finished Naked Lunch but was pretty sure I still owned a copy. Cooney's Janie Face to Face, the final installment of The Face on the Milk Carton series. Or rather, how i just avoid doing it. This time, I decided to finish the book.
